Create centerpieces and small wall hangings working with the elements you may find your backyard. You are invited to bring branches, grasses and flowers to Pinecone Studio. Val has been gardening for over 30 years and has 12 years of floral experience. She will show you color and composition as you arrange theseelements using your own creative style. Let’s have some fun and bring nature indoors.

“Branching Out” - Trees stand tall in our world, their roots deep in the earth and branches reaching for the sky, inspiring poets, writers, and dreamers for centuries. This SKETCH program is for all the tree lovers out there! Tom and Val will draw a variety of trees, focusing on shape, texture, foliage,and creating depth through light and shadow.

Nature Printing Basic shapes and forms of nature can leave unique impressions. Capture these impressions with printmaking processes. James Sylvester brings many years of printmaking experience to this InPress program. He will discuss various printmaking tools and techniques. Natural objects will be used to print small collages that bring the beauty of nature closer to you.
